Big Island Sales Statistics
The number of real estate transactions has decreased dramatically in year 2007 on the Big Island. Also, the medican sales prices go down overall. The median price for a residential
home has decreased by 6.18% in 2007 since 2006, a 22.41% decrease for vacant land, and a 7.97% decrease
for condominiums. However, pictures look quite different depending on the areas. The medican sales prices in North Kohala and South Kohala actually went up as you can see in the chart above. Location, location, location!
How about buying? Interest rates are low. Sellers are motivated. This is actually a fantastic time to purchase a property.
